Ah my bad. I intended to make a joke about Americans and didn’t fully read your comment. No insult meant to your partner. Will say a lot of body soaps and scents tend to be sweet smelling in the US. Look at most of Bed Bath and Bodywork’s type stuff.

it’s a thing. people have caught their early onset diabetes by their partners noticing a change in taste of their fluids.
