Okay, I am ready to try replacing the lightning port assembly which goes UNDER the main logic board. Tomorrow. There is no repair guide for this procedure, I have proceeded, Wile-E-Coyote-Like, right off the edge of the Mesa of Sanity and am about to find that the gravity vector points toward the bottom of the Chasm of Hubris.
