Happy International Coffee Day, my friends! Sometimes the fedi provides me great joy and solidarity, and this is one of those days. Any post surgery real cup of coffee! Notably after sinus surgery, getting the nose-noodles (stints) taken out- 2 weeks post surgery. That drive through coffee window blasted me with the most intoxicating smell, and the latte was amazing! 2. My dad's coffee. Coffee with my dad. Can't seem to reproduce it. It's just drip. 3. The smell of freshly ground beans. Getting a new pound of espresso from Petaluma Coffee and Tea. Sitting in my car with that bag just emitting goodness. Freshly ground, good coffee, can have such a heady aroma. It's as good as the post sex smell (good sex). Sorry for being blunt.
