I’m thankful my speech therapy assistant who had to resign due to sudden health problems still feels comfortable texting me. She’s navigating lack of mobility and pain, but still sends me pics of her grandchildren and texts me about the weather. I dunno. For some reason I feel honored. I’m happy to provide a little distraction from her health nightmare.
